Muthu Periaswamy

Muthu Periaswamy is passionate about real estate investing and writes on investment management, real estate, and related topics to benefit new and advanced investors. Muthu comes from a corporate and technology background having transformed businesses of all sizes in financial services, insurance, and commercial real estate industries. Companies include startups, private companies, and institutions like Moody’s, Farmers, Standard & Poors, and SwissRe. Muthu continues to advise PropTech, FinTech, SaaS, and eCommerce companies on product management, data & analytics, digital strategy, and engineering leveraging cloud, SaaS, API, and mobile.

At FinYork, Muthu’s goal is to help investors get better at Real Estate Investing by simplifying complex investing topics, and provide independent analysis and tools to improve real estate investing. Muthu has a Finance MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and is considered a thought leader, writer, and speaker on investing and technology. Muthu has been a real estate investor for 10+ years and he has worked with tens of multifamily sponsors and operators on acquisitions, asset management, systems, and investing.

Oliver Loutsenko

Oliver Loutsenko Graduated Cum Laude from Skidmore College with a BS with Honors in Economics in 2014. Since then, gained professional financial career experience at Moody’s Investor Services, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, prior to joining FinYork. Economics thesis paper on Fire Sales in the Tri-Party Repo Market was published in the New York Federal Reserve Bank Quarterly Review and cited by numerous other sources. Oliver is also a DIII four-time All-American Men’s Tennis Athlete.

At FinYork, Oliver utilizes his research on various micro and macroeconomic topics. He also brings his institutional knowledge and work experience with the middle office, front office, and regulators. Oliver worked very closely on a real estate project called American Village (a gated community with 45 single-family homes and 96 condominium units in Palm Coast, FL), primarily on acquiring financing at all stages (from permits to construction, and through building development). Oliver hopes to excite and enthuse readers by covering a niche range of diverse, eclectic topics across digital technology and finance fields, then tailor them specifically to real estate investing.
